Gabriel Walters, CFP®, CRPC®
Gabriel Walters has merged his passion for financial planning and helping people so that he can enable clients to more effectively manage life transitions and achieve their financial goals. Each day offers him an opportunity to draw on his expertise as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional to help clients understand their financial needs, build strategies to solve cash flow issues, and construct stable financial plans.
Gabriel started his career with an asset management firm where his mentor explained the benefits of working for a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and how it could enhance his skills and his career. These types of advisors have a fiduciary obligation to their clients, which aligned with Gabriel’s value to work for a firm that puts the interest of its clients first. His mentor helped him find his first job, and that path led him to HC Financial Advisors. He is a thoughtful communicator and strong relationship builder, and loves to see the positive impact he can have on clients’ lives.
When not in the office, the native Oakland resident can be found spending time at the beach, catching a sunset, discovering new coffee shops, or perfecting his own home brewed pour-over. He has found that making a good pour-over is not too different from creating a solid financial plan. Both take time, thought, and preparation and can only be truly tested for its quality after it has survived the hot water.
